The work of talented art and design students will be on display at the Dick Institute’s Young People’s Gallery from Friday, June 15, when the Ayrshire College Graduate Show gets under way.

The exhibition features a range of specially selected creative work from a variety of disciplines that have been developed and produced by students at the college.

The aim is to showcase a body of expressive and personal work, chosen as highlights of their year in study at a variety of levels – offering an opportunity for the students to showcase their work to a local audience before they apply to art schools around the country.

The Ayrshire College Graduate Show will run until Saturday, September 8 and admission is free.

Currently on show at the Young People’s Gallery is My Place – a free exhibition of photographic work by pupils of East Ayrshire primary schools, which ends this Saturday, June 9.

For the fourth year running, this high-quality exhibition of photography work has been created by the young people who made use of Kilmarnock Town Trail to explore the town centre and surroundings.

For further information and opening times of exhibitions, call the Dick Institute in Kilmarnock on 01563 554343 or visit eastayrshireleisure.com.
