Help’s at hand for learners
An ‘ insprirational’ plan will focus on improving communities across South Ayrshire.
As part of the council’s new Community Learning and Development Plan 2018/ 21, four main priorities will include: closing the poverty related outcomes gap for children and young people, supporting older people to live in good health, place plan priorities for Ayr North and place plan priorities for Girvan Glendoune.
Working with partners such as Voluntary Action South Ayrshire, Ayrshire College and NHS Ayrshire and Arran, they will be delivering activities that support young people, adults and community groups across South Ayrshire.
Cllr William Grant said: ““Over the last three years, 4500 adults have improved their knowledge and skills.
“This important work will continue over the next three years to ensure there’s a level playing field when it comes to learning.”
