Speech­mas­ters meet to have a chat

Prest­wick Speech­mas­ters was opened by the Pres­i­dent last week.

He int ro­duced the eval­u­a­tor James Al­lan and the Chair­man Bob Cameron for the evening.

The chair­man in­tro­duced top­ics on, Pret a Manger, U. S. Midterm Elec­tions, Ger­man Pres­i­dent’s in­vi­ta­tion to Armistice Cen­te­nary, U. S Supreme Court Judge, Bet­fred forth­com­ing matches.

In­ter­est­ing top­ics well re­ceived.

First Speech of the evening was given by Jim McCreadie and his sub­ject on Win­ston Church­hill was seen to be an in­ter­est­ing in­cite to school in the past.

The sec­ond speech was heard from Robert For­rester on “Male Ac­tor” - his sub­ject in­cluded a man, born David John White, changed his name to David Ja­son.

The third speech was de­liv­ered by Tom Dougan, who spoke about “Thomas Muir” - he was born Au­gust 24, 1765. He was a Glas­gow l awyer and po­lit­i­cal re­former.

Why not come along on a Mon­day evening to the Park­stone Ho­tel Prest­wick at 7.30pm.

Ayr United player Alan For­rest popped in to his old school with a spe­cial item. He went to Glen­burn Pri­mary in Prest­wick to visit where he grew up learn­ing. And he took in Ayr United’s League One tro­phy, which they won last sea­son.
