PARKIN­SON’S UK CYMRU: (Ar­fon and Môn Branch) Mem­bers en­joyed a mu­si­cal quiz by David Jar­man at the July meet­ing, fol­lowed by af­ter­noon tea. The branch now has a break un­til Sept 29, when it will con­tinue its monthly meet­ings at Rhosy­gad Chapel Vestry, at 2pm, to en­joy each other’s com­pany and ex­change ex­pe­ri­ences over a cuppa. The branch warmly wel­comes any­one who has an in­ter­est in join­ing (or help­ing). Peter Simp­son, the Septem­ber speaker, will take the Branch “In search of the artist Rex Whistler”. WEEKLY DRAW: The win­ner of the foot­ball club’s weekly draw held on Sat July 22 was Mr Gareth Cem­lyn Jones, Stad Y Wern.
