A north Anglesey community was a hive of activity on Sunday as it held the resurrection of the annual raft race. The Bull Bay Community Group had organised the event, near Amlwch, attracting dozens of competitors with a good turn out of spectators to support as well. A spokesman for the organisers, said: “Very many thanks to everyone who made today such a success - the rafters of course, but the stall holders, the bar, burgers and ice cream, the rowing club, the kayak club, the safety boats, the photographers, HM Coastguard, the scaffolders, the sound system, the Police and everyone who came, cheered and enjoyed themselves.” Photo - David Robert Jones.
