WELSH IN THE COM­MU­NITY: In­no­va­tive ideas to pro­mote the use of Welsh in the com­mu­nity are to be shared at a ‘Welsh in the Com­mu­nity’ Dis­cus­sion Panel on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 25, 6.30-8pm, at Men­ter Iaith Ban­gor’s Popdy Cen­tre, Lon Bopty, Ban­gor. Ex­perts who are in­volved in pro­mot­ing Welsh in the com­mu­nity, both lo­cally and na­tion­ally, will share some new ideas be­ing used by com­mu­nity groups and busi­nesses in Wales at the event. The aim is to dis­cuss the chal­lenges and pos­si­ble so­lu­tions that ex­ist in try­ing to pro­mote the Welsh lan­guage in the com­mu­nity with a fo­cus on pro­mot­ing Welsh among par­ents with young chil­dren, young peo­ple, leisure groups and learn­ers. The Panel will be part of the Men­ter Iaith Ban­gor Popdy Trafod Iaith se­ries. Light re­fresh­ments will be pro­vided.
