Man admits rape charge against two young girls
A MAN has been warned to expect a jail sentence after admitting a string of offences against two young girls.
Conner Christopher Taylor, 21, formerly of Maes Cynfor, Cemaes Bay, but now living in Padstow Street, Miles Platting near Manchester, had been due to stand trial later this month.
But he appeared before a judge at Caernarfon Crown Court last week before his barrister asked for some of the charges to be put to him again.
He pleaded guilty to three charges of rape, two charges of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and four charges of sexual assault.
Elen Owen, prosecuting, said in due course she would ask for the other charges he faced to lie on the file.
The court heard all of the offences occurred during a two-week period one summer on Anglesey.
Maria Masselis, defending, asked the judge to adjourn sentence for the preparation of reports.
“He is under no illusion as to what will happen to him at that hearing.”
Judge Huw Rees told Taylor he would adjourn for reports to be prepared.
Taylor was released on bail until the next hearing at Caernarfon Crown Court next month.
