Sug­ges­tions for a day trip in July were dis­cussed. The speaker was Dr John Gorham, who gave an il­lus­trated talk on dig­i­tal pho­tog­ra­phy. He spoke about the im­por­tance of direc­tion of light, types of aper­tures and shut­ter speeds. He showed var­i­ous pho­tographs he had taken and ex­plained the rules of com­po­si­tion and tech­niques used. Next meet­ing will be at 7.30pm at the WI Hall on Thurs­day, March 1 when Em­rys Llewe­lyn will speak about ‘Hu­mour y ‘Cofi’y. Vis­i­tors will be wel­come.
