AML­WCH CA­NOE CLUB: Meets in Aml­wch pool 8.15pm-9.30pm. If you would like to try kayak­ing the club al­lows three Taster Ses­sions at £5 per per­son per ses­sion. Min­i­mum age 8 and con­di­tions ap­ply to un­der-16s, par­ent/car­ers must stay in at­ten­dance for the ses­sions. Sug­gest par­tic­i­pants wear a T-shirt, the ses­sions will in­volve cap­siz­ing in a kayak. You can also visit on Face­book.

DO­NA­TION DROP OFF POINT: Hospice at Home Gwynedd & Anglesey Drop off Point at its Dis­tri­bu­tion Cen­tre. ANGLESEY CEN­TRAL LIONS: Is a lo­cal ser­vice or­gan­i­sa­tion, and reg­is­tered char­ity that raises money, holds events, and as­sists in events. Dur­ing 2015 it do­nated £3,400 to lo­cal wor­thy causes. It needs new mem­bers to carry on with this suc­cess. Any­one in­ter­ested in join­ing the club, phone 07802 150399 for de­tails.

NA­TIONAL GAR­DEN SCHEME: Gar­den open for Char­ity -Satur­day, and Sun­day June 9-10 from 11am-4pm at Cae Newydd, Rhos­goch, Aml­wch, LL66 0BG. Ad­mis­sion £4, chil­dren free. Light re­fresh­ments avail­able. A two and a half acre coun­try gar­den with spec­tac­u­lar views of Snow­do­nia and Llyn Alaw. Large wildlife pond, an in­ter­est­ing mix of shrubs, trees and herba­ceous plants, poly­tun­nel, green­houses and raised veg beds. Col­lec­tions of pelargo­nium, fuch­sias and suc­cu­lents.
