A MAN killed in a mo­tor­bike crash died do­ing what he loved, said his dis­traught fam­ily.

An­drew Tun­ni­cliff has been named as the biker killed in the col­li­sion on the A470 near Dol­wyd­de­lan in Snow­do­nia on Bank Hol­i­day Mon­day.

The 53-year-old came from Stoke-on-Trent but lived in War­ring­ton, Cheshire.

His fam­ily state­ment paid trib­ute to the “kind” and “car­ing” man: “An­drew Tun­ni­cliff passed away on May 28 do­ing what he loved, in a tragic mo­tor­bike ac­ci­dent in North Wales.

“Andy was a lov­ing, part­ner, son, brother and un­cle. He was a kind, lov­ing, car­ing, a clever manl.”

Po­lice are con­tin­u­ing to in­ves­ti­gate the col­li­sion, which hap­pened just be­fore 2pm on the A470 Ro­man Bridge.
