Keep on trucking at family festival!

-

If trucks are your thing then there’s only one place for you at the beginning of next month. Shepton Mallet will play host to Truckfest at The Royal Bath and West showgrounds on September 1 and 2. There’s loads to entertain the whole family. Children can enjoy the family fun fair and inflatable kids’ zone and a first to Truckfest they can have a ride in a mini monster truck. There’s also the chance to ride in the back of a huge monster truck, the big red MAC ride truck. If dads are a big fan of reality trucking TV shows, Outback trucker Steve Graham will be flying in from Australia to meet fans and sign autographs. Top reality TV star Todd Dewey from Ice Road Trucker will host the event and take part in some challenges in trucks. If that’s not enough, Love island stars Dani Dyer and Wes Nelson will also be at Truckfest over the weekend. But Truckfest is really all about the trucks that will be on display and competing for the top prizes over the weekend. Monster trucks ‘Slingshot’ and ‘Swampthing’ will be “munching” up cars and competing to see who can jump the highest over the cars. Advance single day tickets cost £14 for adults, children under 12 are free on show days and a family weekend camping pass is only £70. Advanced ticket sales ends on Friday August 31.
