Planning policies ignored for flats

Bath Chronicle - - OPINION -

May I ask the Combe Down councillors if they approve of the development of Isabella Mews from Grade B offices into four one bedroom flats? The planners were informed by the highways department that there should be parking for five cars, this is not possible but the planners have ignored this, although this is against Policy D7. The property development will overlook my patio and garden and I will be able to shake hands with people living in the ground floor flat, real neighbourly, and this is also against BANES Policy D6. Fumes from cars turning next to the bottom flat will go in to this bedroom window, also against BANES Policy D6. I thought the councillors were concerned about parking on Combe Down?
