Stone King in top three in char­ity sec­tor

Na­tional law firm Stone King is cel­e­brat­ing af­ter be­ing in­cluded in pres­ti­gious le­gal guide The Times Best Law Firms 2019. The lat­est edi­tion names Stone King as among the top three law firms for the char­ity sec­tor, with its ex­cel­lence in ed­u­ca­tion law also recog­nised with an en­try in the all-im­por­tant le­gal guide. Stone King’s chair­man Ann Phillips said: “We are de­lighted to again be in­cluded in this im­por­tant le­gal league ta­ble which con­firms our po­si­tion as one of the coun­try’s most suc­cess­ful law firms. “We are recog­nised for our ex­cel­lence in char­ity and ed­u­ca­tion law and have en­joyed sus­tained growth across our prac­tice ar­eas as de­mand in­creases for the spe­cial­ist le­gal ser­vices we of­fer to both or­gan­i­sa­tions and in­di­vid­u­als. “We have of­fices in Bath, Birm­ing­ham, Cam­bridge, Leeds and Lon­don, and also spe­cialise in the pri­vate client and cor­po­rate law sec­tors. “Our top three rank­ing as best for char­i­ties is a tremen­dous achieve­ment and is tes­ti­mony to all the hard work of ev­ery­one in the firm.” The Times Best Law Firms 2019 is a col­lec­tion of the top 200 law firms in Eng­land and Wales. Its re­search starts with lawyers at ri­val firms be­ing asked which prac­tice they would in­struct, with Stone King scor­ing highly. Lawyers were not al­lowed to rec­om­mend their own firms with the guide made up of those who re­ceived the most com­men­da­tions. Stone King also has an­other rea­son to cel­e­brate – it has been ranked in the top tier of the Le­gal 500 for its ed­u­ca­tion ser­vices, and in tier two for the char­ity sec­tor.
