Enoch zu Guttenberg
Born 1946 Conductor
A visionary conductor of international renown, Enoch zu Guttenberg’s commitment to art and politics informed much of what he championed on and off stage. His long tenures with ensembles such as the Orchester der Klangverwaltung and Chorgemeinschaft Neubeuern brought plaudits, awards and critical acclaim, while his stance on environmental politics inspired action and respect. All that, not to mention successful world tours and the Herrenchiemsee Festival, which he managed, led to him being awarded two of Germany’s highest honours: the Deutsche Kulturpreis and the Cross (First Class) of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
