DREAM FULFILLED

Lake Kushiro on Hokkaido, Japan, has been on my wishlist for a couple of years as I’ve seen many great pictures taken there. I visited in late February 2017 and endured really strong gales and -10 °C temperatures. Therefore, it took a while to get a sharp image of these whooper swans amongst the snow because their feathers were being blown by the wind.
