Maeve Hunt has been ap­pointed to the po­si­tion of as­so­ciate di­rec­tor at lead­ing busi­ness ad­vi­sory firm Grant Thorn­ton.

In her new role, Ms Hunt’s re­spon­si­bil­i­ties will in­clude man­ag­ing a wide port­fo­lio of small and medium sized en­ter­prises as well as large cor­po­rate bod­ies across nu­mer­ous in­dus­try sec­tors, in­clud­ing man­u­fac­tur­ing, prop­erty and re­tail.

Ms Hunt has 10 years’ ex­pe­ri­ence in the au­dit and as­sur­ance in­dus­try. She is also a mem­ber of the Char­tered Ac­coun­tants Ire­land.

Pre­vi­ously Ms Hunt sec­onded to a large char­ity for a year.

Bron­agh Bourke has been ap­pointed to the po­si­tion of au­dit di­rec­tor at busi­ness ad­vi­sory firm Grant Thorn­ton.

Ms Bourke’s re­spon­si­bil­i­ties will in­clude man­ag­ing a broad spec­trum of grow­ing en­tre­pre­neur­ial clients in cor­po­rate au­dit through­out Ire­land and the UK, in sec­tors in­clud­ing phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal, re­tail, man­u­fac­tur­ing, flour milling and IT.

She has 15 years of au­dit ex­pe­ri­ence, which she gained while work­ing with a range of large, pri­vately-held busi­nesses.

Ms Bourke is also a mem­ber of the Char­tered Ac­coun­tants Ire­land.

Ken Nel­son has been ap­pointed as chair­man of In­ter­tradeire­land by the North South Min­is­te­rial Coun­cil.

Mr Nel­son has pre­vi­ously been chief ex­ec­u­tive of Lo­cal Eco­nomic De­vel­op­ment Com­pany (LEDCOM), one of North­ern Ire­land’s lead­ing so­cial en­ter­prises and has more than 25 years’ ex­pe­ri­ence work­ing closely with en­trepreneurs, start-up com­pa­nies, small busi­nesses and so­cial en­ter­prises. As part of this Mr Nel­son also had reg­u­lar in­volve­ment with cross-bor­der trade de­vel­op­ment ac­tiv­i­ties. In 2012, he was ap­pointed to the board of In­vest North­ern Ire­land.

Hilary Grif­fith has been ap­pointed to the po­si­tion of head of cor­po­rate at Cleaver Ful­ton Rankin.

Ms Grif­fith has al­most 20 years’ ex­pe­ri­ence in law.

She grad­u­ated from Queen’s Univer­sity with dis­tinc­tion in 1998, and has worked as a cor­po­rate part­ner in one of North­ern Ire­land’s in­ter­na­tional law firms. She has also pre­vi­ously led Queen’s Univer­sity’s com­mer­cial le­gal team.

Ms Grif­fith has ad­vised on nu­mer­ous sig­nif­i­cant merg­ers and ac­qui­si­tions as well as man­age­ment buy-outs, fundrais­ings and pri­vate eq­uity in­vest­ments in North­ern Ire­land.
