Irwin’s lands deal with 630 stores
Co Armagh bakery to sell its ‘Better You’ range to a variety of convenience stores
A CO Armagh bakery has landed a deal to supply its new range of healthy bread to 630 stores across Northern Ireland.
Irwin’s Bakery, based in Portadown, is selling its ‘Better You’ range in a host of convenience stores.
The range includes a white and wholemeal loaf, both of which are low in sugar and fat, the company said.
Ruth Sloan from the bakery said: “Consumers still consider bread a staple in the weekly shop.
“This new range gives our loyal shoppers another option in the bread aisle, but also targets new consumers who consider calories and sugar content when buying bread.”
She added: “It is great to secure these listings, which strengthen our existing relationships with retailers across NI and shows an appetite from shoppers for lower-calorie versions of our popular pan breads.”
