Wanted: firefighters and university staff
PUBLIC sector posts from university lecturers to community firefighters are advertised in Nijobfinder today.
Ulster University is seeking lecturers in illustration, photography and graphic design at its School of Art.
The salary for the five positions — which include three photography lecturer jobs — is £34,540 to just over £49,000.
The university is also recruiting a research associate who will carry out work on additive manufacturing polymers at its Jordanstown campus. It is also searching for two associates who will work on the processing and characterisation of advanced thermoplastics.
A number of jobs in the health and social care sector are being advertised too.
The Presbyterian Church in Ireland is seeking a manager for its River House home in Newcastle, Co Down.
The Western Health and Social Care Trust is seeking a medical director for its headquarters at Altnagelvin Hospital in Londonderry. The trust is also searching for a general manager for its outof-hours general practice service.
Slieve Na Mon Nursing Home in Omagh, Co Tyrone, is recruit- ing a staff nurse. And in Belfast, the Northern Ireland Hospice is seeking to fill a vacancy for a community operations manager.
Elsewhere, a practice nurse is sought for a surgery in Dromara, Co Down.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) is seeking to recruit part-time community firefighters for 12 towns and villages around Northern Ireland.
The service is also searching for a facilities co-ordinator who will look after its properties from its headquarters in Lisburn, as well as two capital build and asset co-ordinators, one on a permanent contract and the other on a fixedterm arrangement.
