A MAJOR event promoting skills and apprenticeships will return to Belfast next month.

Skills NI takes place at Titanic Exhibition Centre on October 18 and 19.

It’s billed as a ‘one-stop shop’ for career opportunities, featuring employers, universities and colleges, who’ll be discussing higher education, training providers and career guidance organisations.

The organisation says it hopes to address young people’s fears that they lack the confidence and skills to succeed.

Business development man- ager Chris Kimmins said: “We’re delighted to be bringing Skills Northern Ireland back to Belfast.

“Last year was extremely successful and this year we are positive that we will exceed 80 organisations, with over 8,000 pre-booked visitors expected to stream through the doors over the two days.”
