A NEW £8m luxury Jaguar and Land Rover base has opened on Boucher Road in Belfast.

The opening of the Charles Hurst showroom has also created 20 roles which will add to its existing 100-strong team at its new location at the former Diageo headquarters.

The 40,000 sq ft showroom has been specifically designed to feature the two premium car brands in dual stores that connect at a glass-fronted entryway.

Dedicated handover bays have also been created alongside more customer parking and a new ‘paint and trim’ area with a dedicated space to browse and choose colour options. A new drive-in service centre has also been included.

Charles Hurst Group operations director, Colin Mcnab, said: “The £8m which we have invested locally reflects the huge strength of our commitment to these worldclass, innovative brands and our pledge to provide the very best for our customers and staff.”

The new team will be led by newly-appointed head of business, Norman Fraser.

Charles Hurst Group is Northern Ireland’s largest car retailer, representing 20 automotive brands across seven sites.
