FAST grow­ing UK fash­ion chain Seasalt Corn­wall is set to open its first out­let in Belfast, ac­cord­ing to re­ports.

The ladies cloth­ing store is re­port­edly pre­par­ing to open up on Arthur Street in the city cen­tre.

The unit close to Vic­to­ria Square shop­ping cen­tre was re­cently va­cated by No. 11 cafe.

Sit­u­ated be­tween Joules and Oliver Bonas, the 1,200 sq ft ground floor re­tail space com­mands rent of around £80,000.

From hum­ble be­gin­nings in Pen­zance in the early 1980s, Seasalt Corn­wall has con­tin­ued to grow rapidly in re­cent years.

Em­ploy­ing more than 800, the re­tailer has evolved into a £41m fash­ion brand, with some 50 stores across the UK.

The com­pany did not re­spond to a re­quest for com­ment yes­ter­day.
