Ess se­cures Gas tot he West deal

A BELFAST com­pany has se­cured a sig­nif­i­cant con­tract to pro­vide se­cu­rity sys­tems for the Gas to the West project.

Elec­tronic & Se­cu­rity Ser­vices Ltd (ESS) will in­stall in­truder alarms, CCTV sur­veil­lance, ac­cess con­trol and fire pro­tec­tion on sites dur­ing con­struc­tion of the £250m pipe­line project.

The project will bring nat­u­ral gas to Coal­is­land, Cook­stown, Der­rylin, Dun­gan­non, En­niskillen, Magher­afelt, Omagh and Stra­bane.

ESS chair­man Paul Camp­bell said: “ess is de­lighted to be work­ing in part­ner­ship with SE, Mu­tual En­ergy and SGN on what is a hugely sig­nif­i­cant project.”
