Good vi­bra­tions for law firm as it spon­sors stage mu­si­cal

COR­PO­RATE law firm A&L Good­body is the new spon­sor of the stage mu­si­cal adap­ta­tion of film Good Vi­bra­tions.

The show, which tells the story of rad­i­cal, rebel and mu­sic lover Terri Hoo­ley dur­ing Belfast in the 1970s, is run­ning from now un­til Oc­to­ber 6 in Belfast’s Lyric Theatre. The pro­duc­tion has been adapted for the stage by the same writ­ers be­hind the film biopic, Colin Car­berry and Glenn Pat­ter­son. They were nom­i­nated for Out­stand­ing De­but at the 2014 BAFTA film awards for their work.

Michael Neill, head of of­fice at A&L Good­body Belfast, said: “For sev­eral years now the arts and cul­ture sec­tor in North­ern Ire­land has come un­der se­vere pres­sure due to con­tin­ued fund­ing cuts, so we’re de­lighted to sup­port the work of arts-based or­gan­i­sa­tions and venues such as the Lyric.”
