Propertynews.com still No1
IT is the go-to website for buying and selling property in Northern Ireland and now the man who helped pioneer propertynews. com is back at the helm with some exciting new plans for its future development.
Conor Maccarrick (right) has taken up the post of director of strategy for propertynews. com and is excited to be back on familiar ground leading the website as it announces plans for a major revamp this year.
Conor is one of the original innovative team who first developed the idea of an online property portal with the launch of propertynews.com in 2001.
He remained chief executive for three years after the site was bought over by Independent News and Media in 2006, after which he left to set up his own management consultancy.
Six years later, he is delighted to be back and is impressed the site remains Northern Ireland’s most used property website. He says: “I am very excited about the plans by IN&M PLC to make significant investment in the business throughout this year which will culminate in the launch of a totally redesigned website in the summer of 2016.
“This will include many new features across all media as well as additional services for estate agents. Our ‘Edge’ software, the award winning back office system for estate agents is the market leader and gets property to the website in real time, optimising our service to our customers.”
The Holywood man added: “Since it was first launched, propertynews.com has remained the leading website for the property market in Northern Ireland and the first port of call for buyers as well as sellers.”
