SIX OF OUR FAVOURITE MOTABILITY MOTORS

Belfast Telegraph - NI Carfinder - - News -

VAUXHALL ZAFIRA:

The Zafira Tourer is a spacious seven-seater MPV designed to hold large families or groups of people in comfort. It’s designed to rival the Ford S-MAX and features a quality cabin and good range of engines.

SEAT MII:

Spanish styling sparkles in the Seat Mii, which shares the same underpinnings as sister city cars the VW up and the Skoda Citigo, but many will tell you they like the Mii best. It comes in five trim levels and just one fuel-efficient 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine.

BMW 1 SERIES:

A compact family hatchback that comes with a generous kit list, which despite a higher initial price, competes with the Leon and Ford Focus. The 1 Series, which has been a runaway success for BMW, was updated this year with revised styling and new engines.

HYUNDAI i30:

A no-sense family car with good driving experience, a quality cabin and lean, efficient engines. Now only available in five-door, it is very practical, and none more so that the lovely estate version called the i30 Tourer.

FORD MONDEO:

A lovely large family saloon that’s comfortable, reliable, airy and great to drive. It’s also jam-packed with kit and tech. If space is a real requirement, trade up to the very capable estate versions like

the 1.5-litre Zetec estate 5dr.

VOLKSWAGEN GOLF:

The all-conquering Golf has been wowing family drivers for more than 25 years. The range starts with the well-specced entry-level S model. Other good choices are the Match, or the very-efficient Bluemotion that claims up to 88.3 mpg.
