LOCAL TV star and mind-bending celebrity David Meade reaches new heights as brand ambassador for Saltmarine Cars.

The BBC favourite and corporate speaker has become the face of the family-run dealership, now in its 46th year, who are franchise retailers for Hyundai, Ford and Mazda at their purpose-built site off the M1 motorway, near Dungannon.

This new relationship will see Meade ( right) become involved with Saltmarine for events and promotions over the next year, the first of which will be the launch of the all-new Tucson in their Hyundai showroom tomorrow at 7pm. Places are still available to see David reveal this new model which replaces the popular Hyundai ix35 and is set to take the SUV market by storm.

“It’s absolutely stunning,” said David. “I can’t wait to officially launch the all-new Tucson model at Saltmarine; it’s the perfect family vehicle and a real game-changer for Hyundai as it looks, drives and feels like a vehicle with a far higher price tag.

“The Saltmarine team are great bunch of people and I’m looking forward to working with them and their customers on lots of exciting things over the next year.”

Michael Salt, Dealer Principal of Saltmarine Hyundai, said Meade was a “perfect fit” for Saltmarine.

“We were looking to do something different and add value to our business and for our customers and David is the perfect match.

“He is an entertaining character who our customers will love and we are thrilled to have him on board.”

David took delivery of his brand new Hyundai Tucson Premium AWD this week from Saltmarine Hyundai and was one of the first people in Northern Ireland to drive one. Starting from £18,695, the all-new Hyundai Tucson is available for test drive and delivery from Saltmarine today.
