ISUZU CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS
ISUZU, iconic manufacturer of Japan’s first motor vehicle and Northern Ireland’s number one best selling pick-up, celebrate their centenary this week and have a number of special offers to mark their first century of production.
Headline news is the launch of the most exclusive and most expensive pick-up in the UK — the D-max Centurion Limited Edition. One hundred have been built, and each Northern Ireland dealer only has one apiece to sell.
For those who wish to drive the best of the best, this new range topper comes resplendent in a unique colour Fjord Blue. Each bears its own LE number plaque and comes in Isuzu’s excellent five speed automatic as standard.
Instant impact is guaranteed. Equipped with a stylish and striking new Alpha Sports tonneau cover with remote tailgate locking, tailgate damper and bed rug, discreet spoiler kit, spats front and rear, new Pirelli-shod 19in Hurricane alloys (the spare even gets its own protective bag), stainless steel sidesteps, LED fog lamps, roof bars and tinted windows, this pick-up is a real head turner.
Inside, the five star treatment continues. The Centurion has a luxurious, bespoke leather interior that would be at home in the finest limousines (even the centre armrest and steering wheel are hidebound), contrast stitching, illuminated front and rear door entry guards, the latest Alpine In Car Entertainment system, boasting active subwoofers and a speaker upgrade complete with two headphone sets for the rear entertainment system for your mini VIPS.
Climate control, satellite navigation, reverse camera, Bluetooth handsfree and all the usual Isuzu D-max refinements are standard, as is Isuzu’s excellent 125,000 mile/five-year warranty. Even the carpet mats are bespoke.
This is motoring exclusivity at its finest, and will appeal to the customer who never wants to park next to anything remotely similar. At just £30,995 CVOTR, there is no question that 4WD connoisseurs will be flocking to their local Isuzu specialists to secure their Centurion early.
Deliveries arrive in Northern Ireland during May. This is another Isuzu well worth the wait and, given the sumptuous specification and D-max’s class-leading 3.5 tonne towing, it’s going to shame many more pricey and less capable 4WD’S in the market.
Showroom visitors on this special birthday week will be able to order a brand new Utah on contract hire for a “this week only” price of just £199 a month; 100 lucky purchasers this week will also win £750 of free accessories to personalise their D-max.
Retail buyers can also opt for Isuzu’s excellent service contract, which forward-purchases and inflation-proofs the first three services for just £499+Vat — a substantial saving for what could be up to six years of motoring, depending on annual mileage.
It’s not hard to see why Isuzu lead the pick-up sales sector in Northern Ireland, and they don’t look likely to give that position up any time soon.
