ISUZU GOES WEST WITH FERMANAGH EXPANSION
ISUZU, manufacturers of Northern Ireland’s best-selling pick-up, have strengthened their dealer network in Northern Ireland with the addition of Western Cars in Co Fermanagh.
Welcoming Western Cars to Isuzu, NI managing director Neville Matthews said: “We are delighted to have such a well-established and successful dealer as Western Cars join the sales and aftersales operation and expand into new territory, Co Fermanagh.
“D-max is the clear class-leader with 3.5 tonnes towing capacity, since the full D-max range became available on the UFU Affinity programme we have been inundated with customer demands for an additional dealer and Enniskillen was the obvious location.
“We have known Pat Mccaffrey and his team at Western cars for a very long time, and we were delighted when he stepped forward to represent the Brand.
“There were a number of applicants but the Western proposal ticked all the right boxes and we are confident our current and future customers will be very well looked after. The location on the Sligo Road is excellent and the facilities and standards are superb.
“The full range of demonstrator and display models will be available and the team are fully conver- sant with the Isuzu D-max range. Business customers will also be well looked after, Western are able to offer our full competitive range of Contract Hire and lease products from day one.” Pat Mccaffrey, managing director of Western Cars, said: “I’m thrilled to have been selected as Isuzu’s newest dealer.
“We know there was tremendous interest and competition for the franchise, but I know Isuzu were really impressed with the fantastic start we have made with Subaru. We took Subaru on just over a year ago and we are now firmly established in the top 10 dealers in the UK, which demonstrated we can deliver on our commitments and build new business. “We first paid attention to Isuzu when D-max was launched, the specification and pricing is excellent, it’s clear class leader for towing, warranty and residual values, enjoys really sharp rates on Contract Hire and commands terrific customer loyalty.
“We have had many Land Rover owners inquiring already, the D-max is the obvious replacement for Defender. D-max is a range within a range — there’s a choice of three body styles, 6 speed manual or 5 speed auto, and pricing from around £17,000. Or as Isuzu say — from as little as £699 down and £239 x 23 on Contract Hire. That’s a huge amount of pick-up for very little outlay.”
Try out Isuzu for yourself at Western Cars Enniskillen. The full D-max range is available on the UFU Affinity programme, and retail customers can opt to inflation proof their first three services for just £499 +VAT (depending on mileage that could lock in labour, oil and parts prices as far ahead as 2022 at today’s rates, and the cost can be spread through monthly repayments).
