ALL-NEW PEU­GEOT 3008 SUV NAMED CAR OF THE YEAR 2017

THE all-new Peu­geot 3008 SUV has been named the 2017 ‘Car of the Year’ at the Geneva Mo­tor Show by a judg­ing panel com­pris­ing 58 Euro­pean jour­nal­ists.

The all-new 3008 SUV im­pressed the judg­ing panel with its com­bi­na­tion of style, in­te­rior de­sign and per­for­mance. This pres­ti­gious tro­phy joins the 20 other prizes the 3008 SUV has al­ready won since its launch at the start of 2017.

The ve­hi­cle is the fifth Peu­geot to win the Car of the Year prize and the first SUV to be hon­oured with the ac­co­lade in its his­tory. Peu­geot’s suc­cess in the awards dates all the way back to 1969, when the 504 saloon scooped the award.

The all-new 3008 SUV ma­jors on tech­nol­ogy with its state-of-the -art Peu­geot i- Cock­pit® in­te­rior lay­out, of­fer­ing a more in­tu­itive and en­gag­ing driv­ing ex­pe­ri­ence, with a com­pact multi-func­tion steer­ing wheel, 12.3” head-up dig­i­tal in­stru­ment dis­play and 8.0” ca­pac­i­tive touch­screen which is ac­com­pa­nied by stylish satin chrome pi­ano key tog­gles.

The all-new 3008 SUV also of­fers a num­ber of driv­ing aids and other high-tech equip­ment, as well as seamless con­nec­tiv­ity. Nearly 100,000 cus­tomers have al­ready placed or­ders in Europe with 84% opt­ing for the Al­lure, GT Line or GT trim.

The ‘Car of the Year’ prize is awarded by a judg­ing panel com- pris­ing 58 experienced jour­nal­ists from 22 coun­tries, who have been as­sess­ing each model’s en­try since early 2016.
