VAUXHALL VIVARO - LOAD-LUGGING CHAMP IS STILL KING OF THE ROADS

Belfast Telegraph - NI Carfinder - - News -

ONE of the strongest performers in the light commercial vehicle segment is the Vauxhall Vivaro.

As panel vans go, the Vivaro is one of the biggest-selling and longest-lasting models having been sold as the Vivaro since 2001 but with a lineage (as the Vauxhall Arena) going back to the start of the 1980s.

The Vivaro is the lynchpin of Vauxhall’s van range and is available now in two main trim levels: Vivaro and Vivaro Sportive, and four body styles: panel van, double cab, 9-seater combi and platform cab.

The current Vivaro is just a few years old, offers “class-leading” build quality and practicality with improved cargo dimensions and payload capability over the outgoing model.

The cabin was enhanced for comfort and control with high levels of specification including modern infotainment with DAB radio.

It is also equipped with a range of engines including a cutting edge Bi-turbo that delivers up to 47.9mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 155g/km.

The Vivaro is built at Vauxhall’s manufacturing plant in Luton, Bedfordshire. It is generously specced with all mod cons to include things like:

• Digital Radio, Bluetooth and USB connectivity

• Steering column mounted audio control

• Electrically operated front windows

• Electrically operated and heated exterior mirrors

• Driver’s airbag.

There is also range of standard safety and equipment, including:

• ESP

• Remote control central deadlocking

• Electronic engine deadlock immobiliser

• Dual front passengers’ bench seat

• Six-way adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and armrest

• Steering column adjustable for reach and rake

• Full steel bulkhead

• Facia-mounted gear lever.

All vans come with a 12V socket in the cabin, and in the load area, to charge equipment and there’s also an onboard trip computer and a sun visor with wide angle mirror.

If you trade up to Sportive trim, you get a range of extra features on top of standard trim including Park Assist, load-through bulkhead, air con, and a passenger bench seat with under-seat storage and mobile office capability.

You’ll also get one-touch electrically operated windows, full-size wheel trims, front fog lights with chrome bezel, metallic paint and Led-signature daytime running lamps.

For those who like a little bit extra on the outside, Sportive trim also gets you an exterior appearance pack with body-colour bumpers and mouldings.

Optional extras across the range include:

• Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

• Electronic Climate Control

• Rear Reversing Camera

• Keyless Entry

• 17” Alloy Wheels

• Thorax & Curtain Airbags.
