Built in 1876 this pretty double fronted Malone house is an example of the wonderful architecture for which the Victorian era is renowned.

It would have been a fine home in its day and still sits proud in an exclusive residential area, just off the Malone Road, within range of leading schools and local shops and restaurants.

The property has been extensively restored retaining its beautiful original character with high ornate corniced ceilings, original varnished timber floors, sliding sash windows and period fireplaces.

While there is a real feeling of grandeur inside, the internal layout has been designed and appointed in a contemporary way to create a comfortable family home of exceptional quality and style.

It is a substantial property with an entrance porch, reception hall, cloakroom, drawing room, dining room, living room, a casual living and dining area open to a superbly appointed Italian kitchen and an adjoining utility room.

On the first floor, there are three spacious bedrooms, including a master suite with a spacious dressing room and en suite bathroom and on a return landing there is a bathroom and a utility room which is plumbed for appliances.

On the second floor there are two further double bedrooms and a contemporary styled bathroom with shower.

You get an immediate sense of grandeur as soon as you step inside where original panelled doors, corbelling and cornicing create a beautiful hallway.

An elegant dining room opens into a bay window and there is a lovely original fireplace, plus lots of period features, including cornicing, a picture rail and strip wooden floor.

This opens into an equally graceful drawing room with another feature fireplace and French windows opening to the garden.

There is also a quaint and cosy study with period fireplace and built-in shelving and a modern shower room on the ground floor.

Glazed double doors open into a bright split level kitchen/living/ dining area, which is a wonderful part of this house.

A lantern style glazed roof light makes a fine feature over the dining area and French doors open onto a delightful walled garden.

Steps lead up to the kitchen which is fitted with a mix of cream painted and wooden units and has at its heart an Aga range cooker with double oven and four ring hob.

There are also marble work surfaces and an integrated dishwasher and fridge.

Off the kitchen is a cloaks area and utility room plus a beautiful bathroom with large walk-in wet room style shower.

The master bedroom emulates the refined air of this lovely property and as well as double doors leading to a magnificent dressing room there are double doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the wonderful gardens.

The en suite is luxurious and contemporary with a fully tiled shower unit and traditional white suite.

As well as three more quaintly styled bedrooms there is a relaxing sitting room which is wired for surround sound.

Another bathroom is finished to a high end specification with modern wash hand vanity unit and corner shower cubicle with feature tiling and a bath with chrome mixer taps.

Outside the property mirrors its Victorian heritage with wrought iron railings and feature box hedging creating a neatly presented front garden and at the back is a delightful mature private garden with sun house and a secluded patio. There is also a private driveway.
