Fu­neral for woman who died af­ter fall at home

MOURN­ERS will gather to­day to say farewell to a Co Ar­magh woman who passed away af­ter a fall at her home.

Mon­ica Moore (nee Quinn) died on Tues­day at Craigavon Area Hospi­tal, where she was re­ceiv­ing treat­ment for in­juries fol­low­ing the in­ci­dent last week­end.

The 53-year-old was in­jured in the fall at her home in the Cathe­dral Road area of the city last Satur­day.

A daugh­ter of the late Paddy and Alice Quinn, Ms Moore is sur­vived by her five sis­ters Stella Mullin, Mar­garet Con­lon, Cathy Hughes, Sharon Don­nelly and Edel McA­nallen; broth­ers in law, aunts, un­cles, neph­ews, nieces and fam­ily cir­cle.

Her fu­neral will take place this morn­ing leav­ing her sis­ter Sharon’s home at 50 Mill­town Road, Ben­burb at 9am and mak­ing its way to St Patrick’s Cathe­dral in Ar­magh for Re­quiem Mass at 10am.

Ms Moore will be laid to rest af­ter­wards in St Patrick’s Ceme­tery in Keady.
