Mar­low’s very own Tr­ishna Bhara­dia has been crowned Woman of the Year at the 2018 Asian Achiev­ers Awards. Tr­ishna was given the top ac­co­lade for her ex­ten­sive work as a dis­abil­ity cam­paigner; fol­low­ing her own di­ag­no­sis with mul­ti­ple scle­ro­sis when she was 28, she de­cided to de­vote her life to sup­port­ing oth­ers with the dis­ease. Tr­ishna works es­pe­cially to sup­port black, Asian and mi­nor­ity eth­nic groups within the con­text of dis­abil­ity, vol­un­teer­ing with the Asian MS and the MS Trust.
