Andrea’s secret wedding... and the uninvited Loose Women

The Loose Woman is hoping it will be third time lucky

We knew it was to be a small family affair, and even suspected that

Loose Women’s Andrea McLean would tie the knot this summer when she posted teasing pictures of her hen party. But are wedding bells more likely to ring in the next few weeks?

The ITV star has only confirmed that she is getting married for a third time ‘quite soon’. But, she added, she was so keen to marry her partner of three years, businessman Nick Feeney, that she tried to elope!

‘ We wanted just the family to be involved,’ she explained. ‘And we were on holiday with the kids, so we thought, “Why not?” But it turns out, to elope, you have to be boring and plan.’

Just two weeks after announcing her engagement in August, Nick and Andrea jetted off with friends and family for a joint hen and stag do. They shared snaps of the group showing off their ‘Team Bride’ gold tattoos, and Andrea’s ‘Bride To Be’ sash.

And, when fellow Loose Woman Katie Price asked about the big day, Andrea replied, enigmatically, that it would be ‘quite soon’.

This will hopefully be third time lucky for the 47-year-old, who is mum to son Finlay, 15, and daughter Amy, 10. She split from first husband, childhood sweetheart Nick Green, in 2005, after five years of marriage. Andrea later wed builder Steve Toms in 2009, and filed for divorce in 2011.

She said, ‘[The wedding] will be really small. We’re not doing anything for the honeymoon – I’ll probably just go back to work the day after!’

Surprisingly, Andrea, a Loose Women fixture for 10 years, is considering not inviting any of the other panellists. She explained, ‘ We haven’t decided if the Loose Ladies will come, as [the wedding] will be really small. Even if they’re not there, I’m sure we’ll do something else, which could be messy…’

But one thing she has decided is that Nick makes her ‘so happy… Thanks to him, I’m no longer looking backwards – I’m looking forwards’.

Will her co-hosts get an invite?
