TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, SKY CINEMA CLASSICS Elizabeth Taylor was never more beautiful than when she played the kohl-eyed Queen Of The Nile in Cleopatra – the multi award-winning movie that nearly brought down 20th Century Fox. When it was made, an incredible 55 years ago, it was the most expensive movie of all time, and Cleopatra became notorious due to production troubles – and the scandal involving Taylor and her co-star, Richard Burton, who fell in love on set despite both being married (and not yet to each other).
