Already a bewildering combination of silliness and friendliness, a few official extras turn the MT 10 into a tourist too…

MTŒ10 goodies, Harley touring joy, KTM baggage and big hills on old knockers.

IMAGINE GOING ON a ten-pint bender, blundering into an Indian restaurant and ordering a chicken phaal with extra naga viper chillis, and then enjoying a creamy, mild, politely satisfying meal. That’s the MT-10, that is. The Yamaha delivers all its 152bhp as soon as you touch the lightweight twistgrip and wheelies rudely in the first four gears, yet it’s comfortable. It’s light, nimble and easy to ride. Considering there’s no screen it’s astoundingly calm at 80mph on a motorway, too. Increasingly convinced that it’s more super-all-rounder than super-naked, we’ve lightly sprinkled it with official accessories to further enhance its do-it-all-ness.
