LA VIE CLAIRE COOLMAX SOCKS

Bikes Etc - - CYCLING SOCKS -

WHAT THEY SAY: Made in Italy, we are delighted to announce a new, taller version of our La Vie Claire socks based on the iconic Mondrian artwork.

WHAT WE SAY: Modelled on arguably the most iconic cycling jersey of all time, as worn by the 1986 La Vie Claire team, these socks will certainly help you stand out while hinting that you might have more than a clue about cycling heritage. The original jersey, which was worn by Greg Lemond (who won that year’s Tour de France) and Bernard Hinault (who came second) is based on Dutch Modernist Piet Mondrian’s 1930 painting Composition with Red, Blue and Yellow. Unlike the original jersey, though, which was fabricated from a dozen or so separate panels, each sock consist of just two making them all-but seamless. Which means no chaffing! Available in sizes 3.5 to 11.
