Insulated bottles

Say goodbye to frozen bidons this winter.

Swiss firm SIGG has been in the water-bottle business since 1908, and has made drinking vessels that are used by everyone from mountaineers to supermodels, so finding a flask in its range that would fit into a standard bike bottle cage was a breeze. Its Hot & Cold ONE seen here comes in either a 300ml or 500ml size and keeps drinks hot (or indeed cold) with double stainless-steel wall insulation. You get at its contents via a flip-top lid that’s opened by pressing a button which easily opens with one hand. We found it kept liquids the right side of piping hot for well over four hours. It’s a robust bit of kit, too. Weighing in at 249g or 410g, either size will survive a fall if you drop it mid slurp.
