MADISON SHIELD NEOPRENE GLOVES
WHAT THEY SAY: The Shield neoprene winter glove is a great wet weather choice. Like a wetsuit, the neoprene fabric keeps you warm when it’s wet.
WHAT WE SAY: Flexibility can be compromised when cycling gloves are fully waterproof. Madison gets around this with these completely non-waterproof neoprene gloves which instead soak up moisture which the body’s natural heat then warms up to keep your digits toasty. The result is a highly flexible glove with plenty of stretch allowing almost complete freedom of movement. The large size we tested for our admittedly large hands had plenty of give around the high cuff, too, which is important because you need good circulation to your hands if the absorbed moisture in the gloves is to be warmed up. A silicone panel over the palm allows for plenty of grip even when wet, while reflective detailing on the middle and ring fingers aid visibility when indicating. Available in S-XL, these also come with a limited lifetime guarantee.
