Bird Watching (UK) - - Your Birding Month -

As dusk falls on a warm, still May evening, turn on your porch light and wait for a rather amusing visitor. Common Cockchafer (aka May Bug) is a large, chestnut-winged insect with enormous eyes and impressively ‘leaved’ antennae. It is also distinctly clumsy, as often as not ricocheting between window and wall instead of flying in search of mates. Allow one to crawl onto your finger and feel how sticky it is! PLANT
