1Childerditch Pond is popular with water birds such as the Tufted Duck, Coot and the elusive Kingfisher.

2As you walk around the park look out for birches and alders – Siskins and redpolls of all sorts are attracted to these trees, so keep a lookout.

3Look out near the beech mast close to the visitor centre for Bramblings, Woodcock, Great Spotted and Green Woodpeckers, thrushes and tits.

In the heathland, listen out for Sky Larks, and thrushes. Firecrest has also been recorded here.
