Just off the A438 at Stret­ton Sug­was or from the round­about at the A4103 and A480 Stret­ton Sug­was fol­low the sign to Barn­fields, carry on past the houses where the road be­comes a rough track, there are ac­cess points to the pits on the left of the track which can be muddy and pot-holed WHERE TO PARK: Eas­ier park­ing near the gated en­trance (room for a cou­ple of cars only), near St Mary Mag­da­lene Church and the vil­lage hall on the A4103 off the A438 TER­RAIN: Rough un­du­lat­ing tracks around the main gravel pits. Not suit­able for wheel­chair ac­cess AC­CES­SI­BIL­ITY: The land is owned by the Duchy of Corn­wall and is a per­mis­sive right of way. Dogs al­lowed on leads, but be­ware Blue Green Al­gae may be present dur­ing summer FA­CIL­I­TIES: None on site.
