Bird Watching (UK) - - Go Birding -

1 From the Dis­cov­ery Cen­tre fol­low the track south-east check­ing for those Red Kites and the river for King­fisher. Black­bird, Song Thrush, Wren, Chaffinch, Robin and Blue, Great and Coal Tits are around. 2 Then, af­ter cross­ing the road walk up to the small lake to check for Mute Swan. Mal­lard, Moorhen and Coot res­i­dent there. 3 Cross the rail­way line and join the track up through the fields where Green Wood­pecker can be seen . Then walk through wood­land look­ing for wood­peck­ers. 4 At the Clap­ping Wicket gate, take the track north-west to­wards High­land Farm , then along the edge of Sallow Coppice then through to the Ro­man Road. 5 Fi­nally, cut along the north edge of the Coppice and pick up the Shrop­shire Way and re­turn to Stoke­say and the Dis­cov­ery Cen­tre.
