ANGLE SHADES
If the Art Deco movement did moths, it would have come up with the Angle Shades. October is towards the end of the year’s second coming of this unmistakable insect. It has long pointed wings with a ragged edge that recalls a dessicated, crumpled leaf. To further strengthen the moth’s approach to camouflage, its wings are delicately rippled with green, brown and mauve. This exquisite moth never fails to excite.
