Hen Harrier

In autumn, these raptors move from upland breeding sites to coastal saltmarshes and lowland fens, and can also be seen on passage between the two – numbers are supplemented by birds arriving from Scandinavia. Reedbed roosts at places such as Blacktoft Sands RSPB are great places to look for them, as well as coastal sites in East Anglia and Kent.
