HIGH­LIGHTS: An Amer­i­can Wi­geon was at Coss­ing­ton Mead­ows (8th-25th). A Crane was heard on noc­tur­nal mi­gra­tion over Le­ices­ter (23rd). A Yel­low-browed War­bler was at Bur­rough Hill (22nd).

CHARN­WOOD: Crop­ston Reser­voir held four Green­shanks (2nd-5th), eight Green Sand­pipers (11th), four Black-tailed God­wits (5th), two Bar-tailed God­wits (10th), a Com­mon Scoter (19th), Black Tern (8th-10th) and an Arc­tic Tern (9th-12th). Swith­land Reser­voir pro­duced a Gar­ganey (26th-30th), Com­mon Scoter (30th) and 22 Man­darins (28th). Some 623 Meadow Pip­its mi­grated over Deans Lane (28th). Bradgate Park had a Whin­chat (6th) and Red­start (7th).

EYEBROOK RESER­VOIR: Waders in­cluded nine Black-tailed God­wits (2nd), four Ruff, a Spot­ted Red­shank (1st) and Green­shank (2nd-4th). There was a Gar­ganey (26th), Black Tern (14th-17th), Pied Fly­catcher (28th), six Whin­chats (6th) and four Stonechats (30th).

NORTH-WEST LE­ICES­TER­SHIRE: An Osprey was at Kel­ham Bridge (24th). Seven Shags flew over Ib­stock (8th). Long­moor Lake at­tracted two Whin­chats (4th) and three Stonechats (25th). Three Caspian Gulls, two Mediter­ranean Gulls and 21 Ravens were at Al­bert Vil­lage.

OTHER SITES: A Gar­ganey was at Birstall Mead­ows (14th). An­other was at Mel­ton CP (23rd), with a Pied Fly­catcher nearby (14th). A Ruff was at Wan­lip Mead­ows (18th).
