AVON VAL­LEY: An Osprey, Black Tern, Arc­tic Tern, three Ruff, two Green­shanks and four Whin­chats were at Lower Moor. Hob­bies flew over Eve­sham and Naf­ford. Whin­chats were at Eck­ing­ton and John Ben­nett Wet­land (four).

CEN­TRAL: A Whin­chat was at Coney Meadow. A Great White Egret, six Black Terns, a Black-tailed God­wit, two Ruff, two Green­shanks, a Whin­chat and Hobby were at Grim­ley. A Whin­chat was at Hindlip, where a Grey Plover flew over. A Quail was at Lady­wood. A Hobby flew over Pow­ick. A Black Tern, Green­shank and Whin­chat were at West­wood Pool. A Night­jar was in a Worces­ter gar­den. Sand­piper, two Ruff, two Green­shanks and a Hobby were at Clifton. A Spot­ted Red­shank, two Turn­stones, a Green­shank, Black-tailed God­wit, Marsh Har­rier, Black Tern, Lit­tle Gull, two Gar­ganeys, a Pin­tail and two Hob­bies were at Rip­ple.

NORTH: An Osprey, four Black Terns, a Black-tailed God­wit and Green­shank were Bit­tell Reser­voirs. Six Whin­chats were at Shen­stone. A Glossy Ibis flew over Stone (25th). An Osprey flew over Tarde­bigge. Hob­bies flew over Ha­gley and near Kid­der­min­ster (two). A Whin­chat was at Wilden Top.

UP­TON WAR­REN: High­lights in­cluded Worces­ter­shire’s first Baird’s Sand­piper (9th-16th), a Sabine’s Gull (21st-22nd), Great White Egret, Osprey, Spot­ted Red­shank, five Whim­brels, nine Black-tailed God­wits, a Ruff, four Green­shanks, an Arc­tic Tern, Yel­low-legged Gull, two Hob­bies, a Rock Pipit and Ring-necked Para­keet.
