HIGH­LIGHTS: A Great Shear­wa­ter was seen from Rath­lin Is­land (18th). A Sabine’s Gull and Grey Phalarope were at Ben­gore Head, Co. Antrim (29th). A Glau­cous Gull was at Port­ballintrae (11th). The Ring-billed Gull was seen again around En­niskillen (from 12th). A Black Tern was at the Belfast Har­bour RSPB (9th), with two at Bar­mouth (11th), and sin­gles at Seahill (14th), Lough Beg (15th) and Lower Lough Erne (16th). A Lit­tle Tern was at Groom­sport (14th). Good num­bers of Roseate Terns were at Belfast Har­bour through­out, max­i­mum 16 (9th). Ospreys were in Belfast Lough (14th) and at Down­hill (25th). A Marsh Har­rier was at Lough Beg (12th). Five Pink­feet were at Mil­li­gan Point (25th). Two Ruddy Shel­ducks of un­known ori­gin were near Clogher (15th). The re­turn­ing Goosander was seen again at Bal­ly­carry Bridge (16th). Baird’s Sand­pipers were at My­roe (4th) and Belfast Har­bour (23rd). A White-rumped Sand­piper was at My­roe (13th), with a Buff-breasted Sand­piper there (21st). A Pec­toral Sand­piper was at Balls Point (25th), with pre­sum­ably the same bird seen later at My­roe. A Spot­ted Red­shank on Rath­lin Is­land (7th) was a first for the is­land. Belfast Har­bour had Lit­tle Stints (12th and 27th), and two were at My­roe (21st). Curlew Sand­pipers were at sev­eral sites, max­i­mum seven at My­roe (13th). A Tree Pipit was at Kil­lough (14th). Two La­p­land Bunt­ings were at Ramore Head (15th). A Com­mon Yel­lowthroat at the Bann es­tu­ary (18th) will be a first for North­ern Ire­land if ac­cepted. All re­ports be­low have yet to be as­sessed by the NIBRC.
