BARD­SEY IS­LAND: There was a Melo­di­ous War­bler (1st), 1,146 Manx Shear­wa­ters, 69 Gan­nets, 37 Com­mon Scot­ers, four Sand­wich Terns, an Arc­tic Skua, a Great Skua, 353 Lin­nets, a Grasshop­per War­bler, a Red­start and 22 Wil­low War­blers (2nd), a Buff-breasted Sand­piper, a Sooty Shear­wa­ter, four Balearic Shear­wa­ters, 37 Ful­mars, 142 Gan­nets, a Med Gull and six Grey Wag­tails (3rd), and seven Pur­ple Sand­pipers, 26 Gold­crests, 151 Meadow Pip­its, three Ringed Plovers and a Snipe (4th). There were 116 Swal­lows, 54 Curlews, 81 Turn­stones, a Green­shank and a Golden Plover (5th), a ju­ve­nile Long-tailed Skua, 469 Kit­ti­wakes, 87 Ra­zor­bills, 70 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and two Spot­ted Fly­catch­ers (7th), and a Tree Pipit (8th). A pris­tine Great Shear­wa­ter was seen (10th), plus a Wry­neck. There were sin­gle Sooty Shear­wa­ter, Long-tailed Skua, Lit­tle Tern and Black Guille­mot, three Black Terns, and a ju­ve­nile Ic­ter­ine War­bler (11th), 32 Meadow Pip­its, 26 Rock Pip­its, two Lit­tle Owls and 10 Greater Black-backed Gulls (13th), three Wry­necks, an Or­tolan Bunt­ing and a ju­ve­nile Hobby (14th), and 53 Robins, 41 Gold­crests, a Wry­neck and 38 White Wag­tails (15th). There was a La­p­land Bunt­ing (16th), plus Whin­chat and two Gar­den War­blers, 71 Rock Pip­its, five Golden Plovers and 12 Pur­ple Sand­pipers (19th), 621 Kit­ti­wakes, 255 Ra­zor­bills, 30 Gan­nets and a Whin­chat (20th), an­other La­p­land Bunt­ing (21st), and two Water Rails, 124 Lin­nets and two Lit­tle Owls (23rd). A to­tal of 2,061 Ra­zor­bills ap­peared af­ter the rag­ing storm (24th), plus 592 Kit­ti­wakes and the first Red-throated Diver. There were three Sooty Shear­wa­ters and a Black Tern (25th), the first Sabine’s Gull (26th), Lit­tle Stint, eight Snipe, 165 Swal­lows and 39 Gold­crests (29th), and a Blyth’s Reed War­bler (30th).

OTHER SITES: Cric­ci­eth had two pale-bel­lied Brent Geese late in the month. Morfa Ne­fyn had up to three Med Gulls, and 17 Twite were at Nant Ffran­con. At Di­nas Din­lle, sight­ings in­cluded Whin­chat, seven pale-bel­lied Brent Geese, six Whim­brels and nine Arc­tic Terns. Pwll­heli had 15 Black-tailed God­wits, two Bar-tailed God­wits, five Knot, three Lit­tle Egrets, a Green­shank amongst many Red­shanks, and two Grey Plovers (2nd), plus three Goosanders (24th) and two King­fish­ers (30th).
