HIGHLIGHTS: A Corn Crake was at Point of Ayr (29th), with a Yellow-browed Warbler there (30th). The River Clwyd, Rhyl had a Short-toed Lark (13th), four Curlew Sandpipers throughout and two Little Stints (1st-13th). A Surf Scoter, two Velvet Scoters and 5,000 Common Scoters were off Llanddulas (23rd).
COASTAL SITES: Connah’s Quay logged 2,000 Black-tailed Godwits, 20 Spotted Redshanks, 18 Greenshanks, a Great White Egret (21st), good numbers of Redshank and Lapwings, several White Wagtails, Wheatear, Peregrine, Buzzard and Kingfisher. Twelve Spoonbills flew over Burton Point towards Flint (3rd). The three Marsh Harriers there (7th) probably came from Burton Marshes.
